Baisakhi - Baisakhi for North Indians is a mega event. For the Hindus, it is the start of the New Year, and is celebrated with partying, and worshiping.

Good Friday- The Christians living in India celebrate this day as the death of Jesus Christ.

अगस्त (August) 
Raksha Bhandhan-  Raksha Bandhan/Rakhi is a festival of brother and sister. It represents the sweet love and bonding between the siblings. On this day, sisters tie a Rakhi( a thread with decorations) and the brothers promise to protect them all their life.

Independence Day - It is a day of pride and honor for every Indian as on the midnight of 15 august 1947 India got independence from British rule and the tri color flag got it's due respect. Since then this day is celebrated with pomp and glory throughout the country.
